Olga was working as an architect until 2003 but started to feel increasingly stressed in all areas of her life, developing aches and pains from spending too much time at a computer.   She had tried other types of yoga but for a long time put off trying a Hot Yoga class.

‘When I finally tried it I was immediately drawn to the yoga because of the challenge that every class gave me.  I very quickly started to feel better about my body and I felt more relaxed.’  Olga continued a regular Hot Yoga practice for 4 years before embarking on her life-changing decision to give up her regular job as an architect and train to become a Hot Yoga teacher.

Olga’s dream was to combine her love of yoga with her love of architecture and design a space where people could come and enjoy this fantastic practice.  ‘I feel that at my studios I have created a beautiful retreat for people to get away from the hectic world around them and do something incredibly good for their body and mind.’   She prides herself on creating warm and friendly studios and bringing together a team of happy staff and happy teachers.

Olga believes that Hot Yoga is for everyone, whatever their age, size, or body type.  She is also very much into fitness and blogs for Triathlete’s World and Runner’s World.

Olga’s first daughter, Yasmin, was born in 2005, Skye was born in 2007 and Lily was born in 2009.

Olga has also been honoured in the UK’s first ever Power Part Time list, a prestigious list of 50 of the most senior-level, part-time workers in the UK, appearing on the list as the sole representative of the yoga industry.

Who/What inspired you to teach?
My first Bikram Yoga teacher, Naomi Clark!  Who would have thought though that we would still be practising and working together 15 years on!

Favourite posture/sequence?
I love the challenge of the Bikram Method.  Even after 20 years of practice, it never gets easier and there is always somewhere to go or something to learn.  I do love learning new styles and new ways to work my body and so I am finding new things like capoeira style  particularly good for me right now.

Post-class pick me up?
Nothing like some fresh juicy blueberries to give me a little sugar hit.  I do like to have a protein blast after working my body hard.  Quest bars just hit the spot for me!  And for extra sweetness…cookies and cream!

Guilty pleasure?
Watching the latest Netflix series in bed with a hot chocolate!

You know it’s gonna be a good day when…?
My 3 children all get out of bed with smiles on their faces having had a good night’s sleep!

stay happy and healthy!
